TANTRUM is a gender neutral, size inclusive, and affordable clothing brand that uses recycled fabrics and materials to create one of a kind pieces.

The alienation of queer communities in clothing stores continues to affect our society's view of gender. There is absolutely no reason for brands to continue categorizing their products based on assigned gender and social norms. TANTRUM demands an end to the gendered sale of items. 

 

Using thrifted, donated, and used fabrics, TANTRUM is in the pursuit of minimizing consumer waste and preventing items from living in landfills. Upcycling these materials, allows for ethical artistic upselling rather than continuing the extreme gentrification of found or thrifted clothing.

The gentrification of thrifted clothing continues to harm marginalized communities through the up-selling of products. TANTRUM demands an end to the rising prices at these stores and online. We attempt to keep all items under $80; keeping in mind that all items are hand designed and upcycled. We ask that our customers only purchase clothing that is in their size range to insure all members of our community can participate in this mission.
